Casey is a manly man. There’s nothing girlish looking about him at all. Tall, dark, deadly, and handsome. He’s a big guy at 6’ 4” and built like a tank. His dark hair is kept cut short and he’s usually sporting some hair on his face. He’s got scars here and there on his body.

Most of the time Casey can be found wearing earth tone t-shirts with khaki cargo pants or camouflage pants. Other times it’s just a t-shirt and jeans. He doesn’t own a suit and has no clue how to tie a tie.

Personality:

Casey could be considered a dominant male type. He’s a take charge and lead kinda guy. If following someone else is what it takes to get the job done, he’ll do it though he doesn’t have to like it and makes that very clear. The job is everything and almost always comes before all else.

Casey is a pretty laid back, practical guy who has common sense and street smarts. He rather joke in the face of danger than scream. Even if his jokes aren’t really that funny and most often than not his jokes are smartass ones. He can be a hard man. He won’t lie about things just to make the world all rainbows and ponies for you. The world is a dangerous place and if you turn a blind eye to that then you’re an idiot in Casey’s book.

He’s a man who knows how to use his toys. Casey has been trained heavily in weapons and is as deadly with a knife or stake as he is a gun or cross bow. He’s also a mean jello wrestler--don’t ask.

History:

Casey was born into a family of hunters. He’s father was a hunter. His father’s father was a hunter. Hell, even his mother was a hunter. So it was right that Casey himself become a hunter. From the time he was old enough his parents started to teach him the family trade.

As he got older, Casey started to notice differences between the supernatural races that his parents hunted. While they had a kill them all attitude, Casey realized that not all of them were evil monsters that were out to harm others. Some of them were worth letting live. It was a view that was not shared by his family and he was looked down at for it. When he turned 18, Casey struck out on his own. It just wasn’t possible for him to take on the jobs that his parents did. He couldn’t kill without knowing all the facts.

Over the years Casey’s life style has taken him many places and he’s seen many things. Many times he’s came close to becoming another body in the ground. One brush with death left him with a lose of his personal memories. A fight with a demon left him in a coma for a few days and when Casey woke up he could remember everything about being a hunter, but nothing about his personal history. He could recall past hunts but not the faces of people he might have known. His family was forgotten. For all he knows, he hasn’t lost much. He doesn’t know if he left a girlfriend or good friends behind. Or if he has any family alive. He still has the hunt and for now that’s enough for him. He’s making a difference in the world, even if he doesn’t remember the world. Over time he has made new contants. He often stops by Mysteria to see if Gideon has any work for him.

Flaws

Casey is an alpha male, and because of it he always thinks that he cause to be the one running things, the one giving out the orders, and the one making all the calls. This tends to seriously pissed people off. Not to mention if Casey has to follow someone else he gets male PMS.

Hunting supernatural creatures tends to give one a rep among them. Not always a good thing when it comes to evil beings. It makes Casey a target to those who wish to add a hunter to their list of kills.

Casey tends to be overconfident. He’s good at what he does and that tends to go to his head. It can be a problem when he takes on something that he thought he could and then finds out that he couldn’t.

Thanks to a demon attack that left him in the hospital, Casey has selective amnesia. He can’t remember anything about his life beyond being a hunter. It’s what defines him.

One wouldn’t think such an alpha male would be afraid of spiders. The little suckers creep him out to no end. If he walks into a web or finds a spider on him he freaks out.

Merits

Casey has a High Pain Tolerance. He has learned to push on even when wounded. What’s a little blood pouring out of your body when there’s a big nasty that need putting down. Pain is for wusses.

A strong will is something that Casey has. He won’t give up and he won’t crack under pressure or torture. Once he decides something he’s not going to back down.

Spider-man move over. Casey has a danger sense. Which is good for he goes busting into somewhere and finds something breathing down his neck. It’s a feeling he gets deep in his gut, a feeling he has learned not to ignore.
